A memorial tower built by members of the Shingon sect for victims of the atomic bomb who died unexpectedly.

This is a memorial tower erected by followers of the Shingon sect for those who died untimely in the atomic bombing. The base is inscribed with the words, "Erected by followers of the Shingon sect in September 1957."
