A monument commemorating the improvement and development of barbering techniques and gratitude.

Date of erection: March 1960
Erected by the Hiroshima Barbers Association, this monument is inscribed with a tanka poem: "Even black hair has life. In the morning and the sun, I gather the haircuts and enshrine them here." It expresses gratitude and the advancement of barbering techniques.
The monument was currently donated by the Hiroshima Barbers Association to the Hiroshima Barber and Beauty Academy, a Hiroshima Prefectural Barber and Beauty College, and is maintained and managed by the school, transcending the boundaries of barbering and beauty, and expressing gratitude for hair.
