The temple of Toukasan Taisai, one of Hiroshima's three major festivals

It was built in 1619 by Lord Asano Nagaaki, the lord of Hiroshima. Officially, it is a Nichiren sect temple called ``Fukushozan Charity-in Enryu-ji.'' Among the various events held throughout the year, the Toukasan Festival, which is held for three days starting on the first Friday of June every year, is considered one of Hiroshima's three major festivals. The Grand Festival is the festival of the Inari (Touka Daimyojin), which is enshrined at Enryu-ji Temple.The shrine is only open for three days of the year, and is known nationwide as the festival where people start wearing yukata in the Hiroshima region. Also known as Other events include a public experience of water training at the Setsubun party in January.
