An ancient temple that is said to have once been the largest in the western country

Enmyoji Temple is a temple that is said to have been founded by Kobo Daishi. It is a temple with a long history, and was once said to be the largest temple in the western part of Japan. In the hall on the temple grounds, there is a wooden half-seated statue of Nyoirin Kannon Bodhisattva, which is designated as an Important Tangible Cultural Property of Hiroshima City.

Take the Hiroshima Dentetsu train "Miyajimaguchi" or "Eba" in front of Hiroshima Station and get off at "Kamiyacho Nishi". From the bus center, take the bypass bound for "Ajina Taipei/Miyazono/Shikigaoka" and get off at "Tsuboi", then walk for 5 minutes.
