A temple founded in 2011, where a hanging Buddha, an Important Tangible Cultural Property of Hiroshima City, is handed down.

Junkyoji is one of the temples of the Honganji sect of the Jodo Shinshu sect. It was founded in 1574 (Tensho 2) by Kyoshun. Noriharu purchased the mansion originally built by Tsuneyoshi Yoshikawa (later Tsuneyoshi Ichikawa), a vassal of the Mori family, in Ichikawa-mura (present-day Ichikawa, Shiraki-cho), and built Junkyo-ji Temple there. The fact that Noriharu purchased the mansion from Tsuneyoshi Ichikawa is recorded in the Takada District Village Memorandum. The remains of Tsunetsune Ichikawa's mansion still remain today as the stone wall of Junkyoji Temple. Get off at Shiwaguchi Station on the Geibi Line. Go north on the old road in front of the station for 10 minutes in the direction of Mukaihara, and you will see the main hall of Junkyoji Temple on your left.
