Waseda Shrine is a shrine located in Ushida Waseda, Higashi-ku, Hiroshima City. Many local people visit the seasonal festivals. There is also a Yayoi culture period tomb designated as a historic site by Hiroshima Prefecture on the grounds. The local history museum on the grounds displays stone tools and earthenware from the Jomon and Yayoi periods that have been excavated, and you can view them by making a reservation. In addition, a monthly festival is held on the 1st of each month from 9:00 a.m. Please come and visit us as we serve lucky items and rice porridge in front of the shrine, which is said to bring good health and prosperity (while supplies last).
