Hachibee, Mo-chan, and Hakase standing in front of Nishihiroshima Station
The setting of "The Zukkoke Trio" is Koi-cho, Nishi-ku, Hiroshima, where the author, Masamoto Nasu, was born and raised. A monument to the Zukkoke Trio (Hachibee, Mo-chan, and Hakase) has been erected in front of JR Nishi-Hiroshima Station.
