A shrine where Masanori Fukushima is said to have buried his famous 8-sword sword instead of a human pillar.

When Fukushima Masanori was the lord of Hiroshima Castle, it is said that he buried eight famous swords in the ground instead of human sacrifices to prevent damage to the banks from floods. A shrine was built in 1617 to enshrine the spirits of the eight swords. It is the only historical site of Masanori's reign that remains in this area.
