The bell tower, which has been preserved as it was at the time of the atomic bombing, rings a bell to commemorate the souls and pray for peace.

Tamon-in Temple, located 1.75 kilometers from the hypocenter, was severely damaged by the atomic bomb, with the main hall and vaults damaged, and the Bishamon-do hall and Sanmon gate also collapsed. The roof and ceiling of the bell tower were destroyed, and the horizontal beams (beams) on which girders were passed at right angles to the top of the pillars were torn, but it was preserved as it was at the time of the atomic bombing, avoiding collapse. It will be permanently preserved as the A-bombed wooden building closest to the hypocenter. The bell was donated during the war and was lost, but on August 5, 1949, it was recast as the "Peace Bell" with sand from the atomic bombed area, and a memorial service was held for its opening. This was thanks to the heartfelt donations made by the families of the atomic bomb victims. The words "No more Hiroshima" on the bell, the Kannon statue that appears above Hiroshima city, the Komyo Mantra, etc.
