A pump room that used to send water to Koi Kusatsu, restored after being damaged by the atomic bomb
Koi Adjustment Station was built far from the Ushida water source to supply water to the Koi and Kusatsu areas, which have many slopes. The water pump house was built at the foot of the mountain, and the adjustment pond was built on a hill overlooking Hiroshima city. The atomic bomb was dropped on August 6, 1945, 2.31 kilometers from the hypocenter. The building was restored in 1949, but the Koi Adjustment Station water pump is no longer functioning and is no longer in use.
