Yachiyo production direct place

This direct from the farm market gives you a real local feel in everything you see and pick up. They sell vegetables, fruits, flowers, rice, and other produce picked that morning in the northern part of the prefecture, mainly in Aki-Takata City and Kitahiroshima Town. There is also a fresh fish and meat section, a freshly baked bread section, an outdoor food court, a section selling processed foods like jams, and a fresh flower section. The fresh fish section receives fish and shellfish delivered directly from Kusatsu Port every day. The very popular freshly baked bread section has 30 varieties on display, and is filled with delicious smells. The selection is so extensive that it's hard to decide what to buy, so we recommend you spend a little longer here. At the food court, three types of local burgers are popular: the Yachiyo Deer Burger, a teriyaki tartar flavored burger with a patty full of venison, local lettuce and tomato on a red bun kneaded with beets; the Yachiyo Burger, a teriyaki sauce flavored burger with a patty of minced venison and chicken, green onions and tomatoes on a green bun kneaded with powdered "Mitsuya Ebisu tea", a tea made from the habu grass, a specialty of Aki-Takata City; and the Takamiya Burger, a cheese sauce flavored burger made with smoked Takamiya red chicken, lettuce and tomatoes purchased from a contracted farmer on a green bun kneaded with powdered "Mitsuya Ebisu tea". Among them, we recommend the local burger "Yachiyo Burger", which has been a hot topic on TV, and the "Yachiyo Jajamen", a new blue noodle made with Aki-Takata City's Kagura Goshiki Noodles.
