The prefecture is one of the leading producers of orchids, including dendrobiums, moth orchids, cymbidiums, oncidiums, etc. At the Mukojima Orchid Center, various kinds of orchids are exhibited, which are cultivated taking advantage of Mukojima's warm climate.
