This is a salt-making experience that brings back the ancient salt-making process to modern times.
After the instructor explains the contents of the experience, you will put brine (seawater concentrated with algae) into an unglazed earthenware pot and make salt in a furnace for an hour and a half. When the brine boils and threatens to overflow, you will add more brine with a ladle to suppress the boil. After a while, it will boil again, so you will add more brine. This experience is repeated. On the way, you will see the salt-making ruins at the adjacent ancient salt-making ruins reconstruction exhibition hall and hear an explanation. After that, you will return to the experience and see the final process of making salt. There is also a service where you can try dipping baked potatoes in the salt. The salt you have made will be cooled and wrapped up and given to you to take home.
