Fermented hospitality on Innoshima
HAKKO Park is a theme park located on Innoshima Island on the Shimanami Kaido in Onomichi City, Hiroshima Prefecture. It is operated by Manda Hakko Co., Ltd., a company known for its health foods, and is characterized by the fact that visitors can learn about fermentation while experiencing the rich natural surroundings of islands, the sea, and the mountains. On the factory tour, you can see part of the production process of Manda Kouso. There is also an exhibition of research materials from the founder. Through a special movie, you can learn about the wonders of fermentation and the secrets of Manda Kouso. The park also has a cafe, shop, vegetable garden, foot bath, and other facilities, so tourists and cyclists can easily stop by.
