Let's take a ride on the nostalgic bonnet bus!

Every year in spring and summer, we hold a test drive event on a bonnet bus made in the 1950s and 60s during the following periods: Science and Technology Week (Saturday and Sunday of the week including April 18th) Golden Week (May 3rd to 5th) Museum Anniversary (Saturday and Sunday closest to July 4th) Obon (August 13th to 15th) Visitors to the museum on the event days can experience a ride for free and no reservation is required. The bus makes a 4km loop around the Fukuyama Castle ruins. The ride takes about 20 minutes. The bus used will vary depending on the event period.
