Washi paper making using 100% paper mulberry as raw material

Otake's washi paper making has a tradition of over 400 years, dating back to the Edo period. At its production base, Otake Handmade Washi no Sato, you can experience making washi paper using 100% paper mulberry by reservation. There are postcard-size and A4-size courses, which take about 90 minutes. Experiences are also available on days other than the regular opening hours (see website for details).
