International competition winner: Olive-focused day trip

Did you know that Etajima in Hiroshima Prefecture is aiming to become the "Olive Island"? This tour offers a special opportunity to meet olive professional Setouchi Itonamisha's representative, Mineo Ryohei. All participants will enjoy touching olives in the fields of Etajima, which has a warm climate suitable for olives, visiting the olive oil processing facility where olive oil is produced, tasting olive oil made with Etajima olive oil, and lunch full of local ingredients. In early summer, participants will make olive crowns using olive branches and leaves, and in summer, they will experience crafts using olive branches.
