An observation point where you can get a close-up view of Peace Boulevard and the Delta cityscape
Taking advantage of its location on the eastern end of Peace Boulevard, the observation deck was completed in June 2023 as an observation spot from which visitors can get a close-up look at the lush Peace Boulevard and the cityscape of Delta City, which has recovered from the devastation of the atomic bomb. A monument has been set up in the square where visitors can read the "Messages for Peace" left in the guest book by the G7 leaders when they visited the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum at the G7 Hiroshima Summit in May 2023. We hope that visitors will be reminded of the importance of peace by coming across the powerful messages left by world leaders here in Hiroshima, which aim to realize a "world without nuclear weapons."
