Namikiri Fudoson (a statue commemorating the victims of the Ryushinji atomic bomb)

The fire on his back represents the flames of the atomic bomb. The statue of a child next to him represents the young children of Hiroshima who were chased by the flames and lost in the flames. The statue on the right is said to be praying for the repose of the souls of the dead and peace, while the statue on the left is said to be working hard towards reconstruction.
