In the center, a monument shaped like a mushroom cloud is placed, and inside is a list of the names of the telecommunications employees who died, including mobilized students. Every year, a memorial service is held in front of the monument. There is also a monument to the victims of Hiroshima Central Telephone Office, the "Hiroshima Central Telephone Office Memorial Monument" (Naka Ward).
