Senogawa District Atomic Bomb Victims Memorial Monument

[Date of erection] July 24, 1994 [Erected by] Senogawa District Atomic Bomb Victims Association [History] It was erected with donations from Senogawa District residents as a milestone project for the 50th anniversary of the bombing. The 172 victims on the inscription are only those whose names are known, and the number of victims at the temporary relief station set up in the district is unknown. A memorial ceremony for the victims of the atomic bomb in Senogawa District is held every July.
