[Highlights] Cycling and exploring Mikawa. While drinking coffee on the terraced rice field terrace, we will talk about connecting the scenery we see now to the future. [Itinerary] (Meeting point) Bingo Shobara Station ⇒ Hiwa Natural Science Museum ⇒ Setouchi Old House Stays Hiroshima Chojaya ⇒ Cycling experience (Terrace rice field terrace) ⇒ Setouchi Old House Stays Hiroshima Chojaya (Disbanding) [Details] Meet at Bingo Shobara Station. The time will correspond to the Geibi Line and express bus. Travel will be by taxi. The guide will also get in and talk about Shobara City. At the first Hiwa Natural Science Museum, the director will talk about the history and climate of the Hiwa area. It is now on top of a mountain, but it was originally the bottom of the sea, and we will hear about whale bones being excavated there and the iron hole sinking that was often performed in the Hiwa area. After that, we will go to Setouchi Old House Stays Hiroshima Chojaya. At Setouchi Old House Stays Hiroshima Chojaya, we hear about the old house from 250 years ago. We hear about how it was originally a main house, and how the cows lived under the same roof, the sooted bamboo on the ceiling, the chestnut pillars that are about 70 years old, and how it is now used as an old house lodging. After that, we go on a cycling trip, which is the highlight of the tour. Together with the guide, we go to our destination, the terraced rice field terrace, while listening to the origin of the name Mikawauchi. The terraced rice field terrace is a terrace created to view the rice terraces that have been selected as a connecting rice terrace heritage. Here, we listen to a talk about the future while looking at the rice terraces. We conclude the story of the past, present, and future of the Hiwa-Mikawauchi area. Finally, we finish the experience by cutting through the wind down the slope.
