Just bring a change of clothes! Enjoy nature empty-handed! Make the most of your time in the ocean and mountains of Hiroshima!
[Highlights] For families visiting Hiroshima City from inside and outside the prefecture, this is a day trip where parents and children can experience Hiroshima's "nature" and "play" empty-handed during their stay. [Schedule] 10:00 Meeting First, we depart for mountain play. Pick up leaves and nuts, climb the slope to the top, and play on natural athletic equipment made of wood. 11:30 Go down the moving stairs to the beach. When we arrive at the place where we will eat, we strike a match and play a little with fire, and then have lunch around the bonfire. The children play on the sandy beach, put leaves, branches, and pine cones in the bonfire and play, while the adults enjoy a relaxing time drinking coffee while keeping warm. 14:00 Disbandment We move to the meeting place and disband. Basically, we play with natural things that are available at that time of year, day, and place. It changes depending on the season and time, so there is no absolute necessity to do this. While listening to the sounds of birds, wind, and waves, children will enjoy playing in nature and drawing out what they want to do. [Details] This tour is for children from 0 to elementary school age who are visiting Hiroshima and their families. For participants who are not used to playing in nature, we will suggest ways to play, such as cutting leaves into heart or star shapes with a punch, or finding large leaves and drawing faces on them. In the mountain play, children will climb and slide down slopes, and use unpaved paths and fallen trees as athletic equipment to play. They will collect cicada shells and acorns. They will also learn to distinguish bird sounds, smell fallen leaves, and use their five senses to feel nature. On the beach, they will collect shells, sea glass, and other things that have washed up on the shore as treasures, and catch and observe creatures such as hermit crabs, crabs, and sea anemones that live on the rocks. In the bonfire play, children will light a fire with matches and burn leaves and branches to make a bonfire. You can also roast marshmallows over the fire. By using fire properly, you can learn that fire is fun and warm, and you can eat delicious snacks. We will prepare water to boil, so you can bring soup or coffee to enjoy, or you can participate empty-handed as we will prepare it here (please pay in cash on the day). We will also prepare tools for simple crafts, and you can take home small souvenirs such as branches and leaves found in the mountains and shells found in the sea. We place the highest priority on enjoying the seasons, and it is important to share the experience with your family. After the tour, we will also send you a few photos of your family during the tour, so that you can look back on it as one of your travel memories.
