This science museum, unique in Japan, focuses on land, sea, and air vehicles.
It displays over 2,000 vehicle models, including a full-scale Mazda RX500, showcasing the evolution of transportation from the past to the present.
The third and fourth floors feature a vast atrium, showcasing "Vehicle City," one of Japan's largest transportation panoramas (20 meters in diameter), with a wide variety of vehicles that can be controlled using levers and buttons.
Also on the first floor, visitors can browse books about vehicles in the library and watch videos in the video booth.
In the outdoor plaza, visitors can try out "fun bicycles" and battery carts (fees apply), and the exhibit features a Hiroshima Electric Railway 650 Series No. 654 train, which was damaged by the atomic bomb, encouraging them to reflect on the importance of peace.
In addition, the museum offers craft classes, film screenings, science shows, and other events, mainly on weekends and holidays. This is a fascinating facility where you can learn about vehicles and transportation while having fun.
