Want to take action to protect Miyajima's beautiful nature? This tour involves collecting plastic waste washed ashore and creating upcycled products from it. It's not just a cleanup activity; it's a journey to learn about local culture and environmental issues, and to create a "second life" for plastic. ■Tour Overview
Clean: Collecting Marine Debris
While Miyajima's coastline is inherently beautiful, the less-visited side of the island is littered with waste washed ashore from cities. Participants will cruise along Miyajima's coast in small boats, collecting floating marine debris with nets.

Create: Making Products from Marine Debris
Participants will receive lectures on marine plastic waste and learn about recycling and upcycling methods. They will also have the opportunity to create small upcycled products using recycled plastic.

Connect: Participants from all over Japan (and sometimes from overseas) join the tour. This is not a one-sided lecture; participants will exchange opinions with each other. We encourage them to consider the issue as their own, asking questions such as, "What is the situation in my area?" and "What can I do?"
