A Day in Asahara: Food, Water from Iwafune, and Samurai Tea Ceremony – Experiencing Life in the Countryside and Finding Peace of Mind –

A day of wellness experience in Asahara, nestled in the mountains of Hatsukaichi, Hiroshima, where you can immerse yourself in rural life and find peace of mind. You'll pay your respects to the land, select local ingredients, and even wash, cook, and tie Asahara rice yourself.

In the afternoon, you'll walk through the countryside, collect water from Iwafune, and use it to practice the Ueda Sōko-ryū samurai tea ceremony. Experience the local food, water, tea, and connections with people through all your senses, taking a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life to reflect on yourself.

Finally, you'll visit the workshop of the craftsman who created the tea ceremony utensils used in the experience.
