Geihoku Folk Performing Arts Preservation and Transmission Center

A place where you can encounter the four seasons and Kagura dance of Geihoku, where tradition thrives.

On the first floor, the museum introduces folk performing arts for each season, following the flow of agricultural work throughout spring, summer, autumn, and winter. It displays folk performing arts and the tools of rural life that underlie them.

On the second floor, a portion of the collection of Hisato Shindo, who researched the folklore of the Geihoku region, is on display, offering a different perspective on rural life.
