The Noro River originates from Mt. Noro at an altitude of 839 meters and flows into the Seto Inland Sea with a length of 10 kilometers and a basin area of 43.2 square kilometers. This dam was built in the Ichihara district as a place for flood prevention and relaxation for the townspeople, and there are campgrounds, sports plazas, green areas, ponds, etc. on the river site. Also, in the spring, many cherry blossoms bloom along the tour road and are crowded with cherry blossom viewing visitors.
