The Noro River originates from Mt. Noro at an elevation of 839 meters, flows into the Seto Inland Sea, and has a river length of 10 kilometers and a drainage area of 43.2 square kilometers. This dam was built in the Ichihara district to prevent flooding and as a place of relaxation for the townspeople, and the river site is equipped with a campground, sports field, green space, ponds, and other facilities. In spring, many cherry blossoms bloom along the circular road, attracting many visitors. The area is loved by locals throughout the year, with fireflies in summer and autumn leaves in autumn.
