Bayside beach slope

This artificial sandy beach boasts one of the largest in western Japan. Located about a 30-minute drive from central Hiroshima, it's widely renowned as the closest swimming beach to the city. The approximately 1,200-meter stretch of white sand stretches along National Route 31, offering up-close views of the calm waters of the Seto Inland Sea and the islands floating on the opposite shore.

The on-site outdoor shop, Montbell, offers programs for experiencing marine activities like kayaking. The calm waters make it an ideal environment for beginners and families to try out various activities. There's also a gourmet restaurant on-site, where you can enjoy a wide variety of dishes, including hamburgers, Hawaiian cuisine, and sweets, while relaxing and gazing at the ocean.

Located on the route between Hiroshima City and Kure City, this beach is a popular stop for coastal drivers to take a break and watch the sunset. At dusk, the beautiful sunset reflecting off the water offers a truly captivating experience, a refreshing change from the open air of the day.

The park is also well-equipped with ample facilities, including a spacious parking lot and toilets that are available year-round, and showers and changing rooms are also available in the summer. This makes it easy to get ready after leisure activities, and is a convenient facility for heading home or to your next destination.
