Izumo Shrine Bigo Branch

Izumo Taisha Bingo Branch Temple was established in 1879 to house the spirit of Izumo Taisha Shrine in Shimane Prefecture, and in 1893 it was reorganized as a Taishakyo branch temple, with Okuninushi-no-Mikoto as its deity. The temple grounds, which cover an area of approximately 3,300m2, include the main shrine, worship hall, and shrine office, and the surrounding scenery, including the sacred tree, is magnificent. As it is a Taisha branch temple, it is visited by many worshippers from all over the Bingo region during the New Year period. Ema plaques and amulets are sold as lucky charms.
