Koriyama Park

This park is located in Koriyama, where Mori Motonari's castle was located. It has a tranquil Japanese garden atmosphere with ponds and garden stones, and is a place of relaxation for the townspeople, where you can enjoy cherry blossom viewing in spring, and azaleas in full bloom later on, overlooking the town. There are also crape myrtle and maple trees planted in commemoration by Nakamura Hashinosuke, who played the role of Mori Motonari in the historical drama.
