The votive tablet that Mori Terumoto prayed for the victory of the Battle of Sekigahara is a must-see

This museum introduces the city's history and cultural assets, with a focus on the Mori clan and the ruins of Koriyama Castle. In addition to the Mori Motonari section, there are plenty of old documents related to the Mori clan, relics excavated from Koriyama Castle, and offerings made to shrines and temples by the Mori clan and their retainers. Don't miss the Kiyojinja Shrine plaques bearing the names of successive heads of the Mori clan, and the votive plaques on which Mori Terumoto prayed for victory in the Battle of Sekigahara. Other historical sites, cultural assets, and even local performing arts are introduced through video.
