A monument at the Misato residence at the foot of Mt. Koriyama

This is one of the lessons Motonari gave to his three children, and it is said that he used the analogy of three arrows to teach the spirit of unity, saying that a single arrow breaks easily, but arrows bound together will not break. You can get a good idea of Motonari's character and thoughts. This monument stands on the former site of the Koriyama foothills Omiyashiki residence, now the grounds of the Aki-Takata Youth Nature House.
