Hiroshima Station - Miyajima (JR conventional lines/ferries)
Depart from Hiroshima Station Shinkansen Exit 2F Central Gate.
Move to the JR Line (conventional line) platform (Central Exit).
The route for Miyajimaguchi is Sanyo Line Platform 1
Take the JR Sanyo Line and arrive at Miyajimaguchi Station in about 30 minutes.
About 5 minutes on foot to Miyajima pier. Take the elevator to the basement.
Go through a wide underpass.
Go up the stairs (or elevator) to Miyajimaguchi Pier.
When you get out on the ground, the ferry stop is already in front of you.
Go to the JR Miyajima Ferry Terminal There is a big signboard, so you can rest assured.
It takes about 10 minutes by ferry to Miyajima.
I arrived in Miyajima in no time while I was looking at the scenery.
Unfortunately, the Great Torii is currently undergoing restoration work in the “Reiwa Great Renovation”. It may be a rare sight depending on whether you think about it.

After enjoying sightseeing, head back to the Miyajima pier.
The ferry leaves about every 15 minutes, so there is almost no waiting time.
Return from Miyajimaguchi Pier to JR Miyajimaguchi Station and then to Hiroshima Station.
Hiroshima Station - Miyajima (streetcar)
Depart from Hiroshima Station Shinkansen Exit 2F Central Gate.
When you look up, you can immediately see the signboard on the premises.
The tram stop is at the south exit.
Take the escalator as it is to get off to the 1st floor.
Hiroshima Station South Exit If you don't know, you may be able to look up and find the signboard.
Follow the signboard to the tram stop.
It is the number 2 train to get to Miyajimaguchi.
Check the station name at the destination.
