Q: Please tell me how to get from Hiroshima Airport to Hiroshima city.
There is a limousine bus (no transfer/about 50 minutes) and JR use (with transfer/about 1 hour).
There are no railways or subways directly connecting to the airport.
The limousine bus passes through the Sanyo Expressway, so it may be delayed due to traffic conditions.
1 Hiroshima Airport Limousine Bus
It takes 50 minutes from Hiroshima Airport to the JR Hiroshima Station Shinkansen (North) Exit.
From Hiroshima Airport, via Nakasuji Station on the Astram Line, to the Hiroshima Bus Center (Kamiyacho in the center of Hiroshima City), it takes 55 minutes.
The fare is 1,370 yen for adults and 690 yen for children (round-trip discount: 2,480 yen for adults, 1,240 yen for children: valid for 7 days).
There is also a “Heiwa Boulevard Line” that departs and arrives at Heiwa Boulevard. (One way adult 1,570 yen, child 790 yen)
2 In the case of using JR
Hiroshima Airport → JR Shiraichi Station (Sanyo Main Line), it takes about 15 minutes
Transfer at Hakuichi Station, JR Shiraichi Station → JR Hiroshima Station, it takes about 45 minutes
