Due to the fire that occurred at the Mt. Misen Reikado on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, entry to the mountain will be restricted on Thursday, May 21, and it will not be possible to enter the mountain.
The Miyajima Ropeway is also currently out of service.
Ituskushima Shrine, Miyajima Public Aquarium, Miyajima Omotesando Shopping Street are open for business as usual and has not been affected.
