    Enjoy the beautiful scenery of Setouchi by renting a bike and riding on the Tatara Ohashi Bridge, and getting on the “Citrus” boat and cruising on the Seto Inland Sea !
    On the second day, after enjoying a walk in Onomichi, let's go to Tomonoura. We will tour the main spots of Tomonoura, where traces of history from ancient times are everywhere.

    It is gaining popularity as a viewpoint where you can overlook the world-leading cable-stayed bridge “Tatara Ohashi” and the refreshing scenery of the Seto Inland Sea.

    A temple of the Jodo Shinshu Honganji school with a museum and marble garden

    Kosanji Temple is a temple of the Jodo Shinshu Honganji School, which was built by Kozo Kosanji as his mother's family temple.

    It is open to the public : you can find a museum, as well as the “Seated Statue of Hogan Amida Nyorai by Kaikei” and “Satake Hon Thirty-Six Immortal Poets Sentendankan Letter” .
    You can see the museum's collections, including important cultural properties such as “Ki no Tsurayuki”, in each exhibition hall of Buddhist art, modern art, and tea ceremony art.

    The marble sculpture garden and the hill of the future heart are also popular as photogenic spots.

    The city of Onomichi was registered as a Japan Heritage site in April 2015 as a miniature garden city from the Middle Ages spun by the Onomichi Channel. The photo shows the view of Tenneiji Temple Kaiun Pagoda and the Onomichi Channel.
