It is a historic station building built in 1923 with the opening of the Geibi Railway. Renewed in November 2020, it has been reborn into a Taisho Era romantic atmosphere that makes you feel like in the past, at the time of when the station opened. Also, at the platform, statues of Hiroshima Toyo Carp players greet tourists. You can take a commemorative photo with them as a memory of your trip.

This is a restaurant where you can eat Shobara's original okonomiyaki “Shobarayaki”. Shobarayaki uses rice locally produced in Shobara, not noodles, and has the characteristic of sprinkling ponzu sauce. In Kobayashi, rice is pork kimchi fried rice, and the Shobarayaki Special (880 yen), which is topped with locally produced vegetables, cheese, squid tempura, homemade mochi, etc., is popular.

National Bihoku Hillside Park

It is the only state-owned park in the Chugoku region, and seasonal flowers bloom in spring and autumn at Flower Plaza. In addition, there are plenty of outdoor playground equipment such as large complex playground equipment and athletic equipment, so you can have fun playing all day long. The winter event “Bihoku Illumination” spreads out a fantastic sight surrounded by light due to the decoration that makes use of the topography and trees.

An exchange base facility where “food from Shobara” gathers in one place. Here, you will find rice and local sake, which are local products of Shobara City, and Hiba beef, a branded Wagyu beef. In addition to that, they also manufacture and sell freshly baked bread made from locally grown wheat and eggs, and ice cream using raw milk.

It is located on the right side of the intersection heading to Shobara city, and the green and yellow building gives a nostalgic atmosphere from the Showa era. The restaurant, which started as a milk shop, has now become famous as a restaurant loved by locals and people outside the city. It's been 50 years since specialized in ramen.
