2. Fascinating nocturnal animals Animals often rest in the shade during the hot day, but become more active during the relatively cool nights. In order to create a wild atmosphere, we have not simply lit the area brightly, but have taken great care to create an atmosphere in which animals suddenly appear from the darkness.

3. Enjoy a magical moment with illuminations. The observation plaza will be decorated with animal-shaped illuminations, and the garden paths will be decorated with backlit paper cutouts. This is a popular spot for commemorative photos every year.

・Take a bus bound for Asahigaoka from Hiroshima Bus Center platform 7 and get off at Asa Zoological Park. ・Take a bus bound for Koiki Koenmae or Chorakuji from Asa Koiki-Koen-mae on the Astramline , get off at Kamiyasu Station, change onto a bus bound for Asahigaoka or Iimuro, and get off at Asa Zoological Park. ・Take the Sanyo Main Line (outbound) or Kabe (outbound) from JR Hiroshima Station , get off at Shin- Hakushima Station, change onto the Astramline bound for Koiki-Koen-mae or Chorakuji, get off at Kamiyasu Station, change onto a bus (bound for Asahigaoka or Iimuro), and get off at Asa Zoological Park. ・Approximately 30-40 minutes by car from central Hiroshima City; Approximately 15-20 minutes by car from Hiroshima Kita Interchange. ●On event days, there will be additional bus services between Asa Zoological Park and Astramline Line Kamiyasu Station.
