Shukkeien Shukkeien Maple Festival (Autumn leaves illuminated) [Shukkeien]

Shukkeien Autumn Leaves Illumination will be held again this year!

Enjoy the contrast of the illuminated autumn leaves and the fantastic Shukkeien created by the combination of the illuminated "Kankokyo Bridge," "Seifukan" and "Bamboo Forest" with the autumn leaves.

Momiji Festival Period: Thursday, November 23rd, 2023 (National Holiday) - Saturday, December 2nd, 2023
*During this period, the park will be open until 9:00 PM (entry permitted until 8:30 PM)

● "Autumn leaves illumination"
Around 5:00 PM (sunset) - 9:00 PM (entry until 8:30 PM)
*To avoid overcrowding, entrance to the garden during illumination times will be via the Hiroshima Prefectural Art Museum(connecting entrance) to the west. Traffic within the garden is one-way, with the Shukkeien main gate being the only exit.

● "Niwakafe" is open from 11:00 to 20:30 (last order 20:00)
A Japanese-style cafe called "Niwakafe," reminiscent of a tea shop from the Edo period, will be set up on the lawn plaza on the museum side.

● "Kimono dressing experience"
Weekdays: 13:00-20:00 (last admission 19:30)
Weekends and holidays: 11:00-20:00 (last admission 19:30)
A tatami-floored booth will be set up next to the "Niwakafe" where a simple kimono dressing service will be provided, allowing children from 5 years old to stroll around the park in traditional Japanese clothing and enjoy having their photos taken.
