Onomichi Seven Buddha Pilgrimage x JR West
Collect temple stamps using the limited-edition design stamp card!
The Hiroshima Tourism Association and JR West Japan have collaborated on the "Onomichi Seven Buddha Pilgrimage"! Collect stamps from seven temples in Onomichi City using a stamp card with a design exclusive to this project, and you'll receive an original furoshiki (wrapping cloth) as a gift! The illustrations are designed by "IC4DESIGN,"a Hiroshima-based company that is active both domestically and internationally.
The Onomichi Seven Buddha Pilgrimage is a pilgrimage tour that takes you to seven temples in Onomichi City (Jikoji, Tenneiji, Senkoji, Daisenji, Saikokuji, Jodoji, and Kairyuji) in the hope of having your wishes granted. Onomichi, which has flourished as a port town since ancient times, has many temples of various sects. From among them, seven temples have formed a connection that transcends sectarian boundaries, giving rise to the Onomichi Seven Buddha Pilgrimage. While collecting temple stamps that offer various blessings, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery, history, and culture unique to this hilly town.
