~WOOD ONE Museum of Art 30th Anniversary Project~ Sculptor Taki Tamada's Cardboard Story, Act Two
Taki Tamada's "Cardboard Story" is coming back. "Sculptor Taki Tamada's Cardboard Story," which was held in 2024 and received great acclaim, is returning.
The creatures created from cardboard, a material familiar to everyday life, resonated with people through their human-like gestures and expressions, and the exhibition concluded with great success. This exhibition, held to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Wood One Museum of Art, will showcase approximately 90 works, including impressive marine creatures such as whales and whale sharks that have never been displayed at the museum before, as well as Tamada's new work, "Tales of the Gods." What is being expressed in the "stories" that sculptor Taki Tamada, who has evolved even further after two years, tells through her cardboard sculptures?
At the Wood One Museum of Art, which has been showcasing art amidst a rich natural environment, Taki Tamada, who has questioned the relationship between nature and humanity and expressed the joy of creation, presents an exhibition where you can see, touch, and experience art to your heart's content.
