Business Overview
In 2025, the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki commemorate not just 80 years since the atomic bombing, but also 50 years of sister city relations. As such, on the occasion of these two milestones, both cities are working on collaborative initiatives, such as PR, including conveying the culture of peace, and developing new tourism programs that incorporate peace education with the aim of inbound tourism promotion, as well as the development of the local economy by promoting further friendship between the two cities.
These initiatives are organized by the Hiroshima-Nagasaki Collaboration Tourism Project Executive Committee. Beginning on August 1, 2024, as a part of our initiatives, we will conduct PR to promote mutual visits to Hiroshima and Nagasaki to visitors at the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum and the Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum.

⑴ Exhibition of panels, etc.
Panels and the like will be displayed at the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum and the Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum where you can feel that both cities have risen from the damage caused by the atomic bomb and even now that they have achieved reconstruction.

*In order to promote mutual attraction of visitors to both cities, panels from Nagasaki City will be exhibited at the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, and panels from Hiroshima City will be exhibited at the Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum.
⑵ DISTRIBUTION OF NOVELTIES
Novelties will be distributed to visitors who follow the Instagram designated by both cities. (Ends as soon as they run out)
