At the top of the mountain, where you can enjoy the view and nature, you will find the ruins of a large gun battery from the Meiji era.

Okimi Town, which belongs to the Setonaikai National Park, is famous for its scenic beauty (many beautiful islands) and is visited by many people. The views all the way to the summit are particularly wonderful, and around 90 types of flowers and trees grow along the forest road (5.7 km) and promenade, where you can enjoy bird watching and forest bathing. Also preserved on the summit are the remains of a battery built in the Meiji period, covering a total area of 198,000 square meters. Nearby, you can also see the remains of the Tsuruhara Battery and the Gannehana Battery.
