The oldest branch shrine of Fushimi Inari Taisha built by Motonari Mouri and Takakage Kobayakawa

Kui Inari Shrine is the oldest spirit of Fushimi Inari Taisha. Motonari, who unified the West with courage and wisdom during the Warring States period, had a strong reverence for the gods and Buddha, and built the main shrine in Koji 3 (1575). The shrine was built by Takakage Kobayakawa, the third son of Motonari. Takakage Kobayakawa, who was the owner of Mihara Castle, dedicated "600 volumes of paper book ink book Daihanwakkyo" to Inao Shrine in 1585. After that, "Paper book ink book Daihanwakakyo 600 volumes" was designated as an important cultural property of the prefecture and is still carefully stored in the shrine.
