Overlooking 115 islands in the Seto Inland Sea

Mount Kamiho is the highest peak on Osakikamijima. On a clear day, you can see the Shikoku Peaks and the various bridges of the Shimanami Kaido in the distance, and enjoy a beautiful panorama of the islands of Setouchi. Its archipelago is renowned as the best in the Setouchi region, with the outlines of the islands reflected in the deep blue sea, and you can enjoy spectacular views in all four seasons. Cute Jizo statues are dotted along the footpath to the summit, and Ishizuchi Shrine and Yakushido are enshrined at the peak, making it a popular mountain of faith. There are hiking trails and a car access to the summit.
