Beech pure forest, a nationally designated natural monument, near the summit

Mt. Hiba, which forms part of the Hiba Dogo Teishaku National Monument and borders on the prefectural border of Shimane Prefecture, is lined with mountains at an altitude of 1,200 meters. The beauty of the yellow leaves attracts climbers. Most of it is contained in the Hiroshima Prefectural Forest area, and there are ski resorts, campgrounds, and mountain trails. There are also abundant alpine plants.
