It is a city comprehensive sports park with the theme of "bamboo" which is the city tree of Takehara city.
Take no Yakata consists of an exhibition room, a craft class, and a Japanese-style room (tea room) where you can experience and learn about the ecology of bamboo, as well as a pipe organ-style symphonic instrument that uses bamboo.
There is a walking path connecting each facility along the ridge of the forest area, and you can take a leisurely walk while taking a walk in the forest.

There are about 20 kinds of cherry trees and about 1,300 cherry trees in the park, and you can enjoy the cherry blossoms from the middle of March to the end of April.
