This is the ruins of Kamei Castle, built by Fukushima Masanori, the lord of Hiroshima Castle. It is known as a famous spot for its approximately 300 Yoshino cherry trees in spring, and you can also enjoy a stroll along the promenade connected by seven stone monuments and memorials, including "Nagara River Enka," which was created to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Ishimoto Miyuki's (born in Otake City) career as a songwriter.
