As soon as you get off the Senkoji Ropeway Sancho Station, there is a promenade with a total length of about 1 km covered with trees. This is "Bungaku no Komichi". There are 25 literary monuments in which passages from works by Fumiko Hayashi, Naoya Shiga, Shiki Masaoka, etc. related to Onomichi are engraved on natural stones. The city of Onomichi and the Onomichi Channel overlooking during the walk are spectacular.
